# Device Provisioning & Pairing

> Installing Vritti Lens APK and pairing tablet terminals via 6-digit Admin PIN.

# Vritti Lens Provisioning & Pairing

Pairing links a physical tablet terminal running Vritti Lens to a specific campus location in your organization.

## Step-by-Step Device Pairing

  <Step title="Step 1: Generate Activation PIN in Vritti Console">
    1. Log in to **Vritti Console** on your browser.
    2. Go to **Kiosks > Register Device**.
    3. Select the target **Campus Location** where the tablet will be installed.
    4. Enter a descriptive device name (e.g., Main Entrance Gate A).
    5. Click **Generate Activation PIN**. A 6-digit single-use PIN will be displayed (valid for 15 minutes).

  <Step title="Step 2: Install Vritti Lens APK">
    1. Download the official **Vritti Lens APK** onto your Android tablet.
    2. Open the APK and grant required device permissions:
       * **Camera Permission**: Required for real-time face detection.
       * **Storage / Database**: Required for offline SQLite event queuing.

  <Step title="Step 3: Pair Device">
    1. Launch **Vritti Lens** on the tablet.
    2. Enter the 6-digit Activation PIN when prompted.
    3. Click **Pair Kiosk Terminal**.
    4. Set a secure **Admin Security PIN** on the tablet. This PIN is used by on-site managers to access diagnostic menus or unpair the device.

Once paired, Vritti Lens automatically downloads active staff face vector models for your location and enters continuous scanning mode.
