# Face Profile Setup

> Enrolling facial vector embeddings for seamless recognition at Vritti Lens kiosks.

# Face Profile Enrollment

To use **Vritti Lens** tablet kiosks for instant face attendance, employees must enroll their face profile once through **Vritti People**.

## Step-by-Step Face Enrollment

1. Open **Vritti People** and go to **Profile > Face Enrollment**.
2. Read the biometric consent agreement and tap **Begin Enrollment**.
3. Hold your smartphone at eye level in a well-lit room.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts:
   * Look directly into the camera.
   * Turn your head slightly to the left.
   * Turn your head slightly to the right.
   * Blink once to confirm liveness detection.
5. Tap **Submit Vector Profile**.

## Privacy & Security

Vritti processes face data using encrypted 512-dimensional numerical vector embeddings (InsightFace format).

* **No Raw Photos Stored**: Raw face images are converted into numerical vector arrays on capture and discarded.
* **Data Sovereignty**: Face embeddings are stored securely within your institution's dedicated database in India, compliant with DPDP Act regulations.
