# Selfie + GPS Punch Flow

> Marking daily attendance using selfie capture and location geofencing.

# Selfie + GPS Mobile Punch Flow

Employees can mark attendance directly from their smartphone using the selfie punch feature within designated campus geofences.

## How to Mark Mobile Attendance

1. Open **Vritti People** on your smartphone.
2. On the home tab, tap **Punch Attendance**.
3. The app will fetch your real-time GPS coordinates and check if you are within your institution's allowed geofence boundary.
4. If your location is verified:
   * Position your face inside the camera frame.
   * Tap **Capture Selfie & Punch**.
5. Once submitted, the screen displays a green success confirmation screen with timestamp and location details.

## Troubleshooting Punch Failures

* **Failure: Outside Geofence Zone**
  * Make sure you are physically located within campus boundaries.
  * Enable high-accuracy location mode in your phone's GPS settings.
* **Failure: Camera Permission Denied**
  * Go to your smartphone Settings > Apps > Vritti People > Permissions and enable Camera access.
